Abnegation

Manifesto:


I will be my undoing If I become my obsession.
I will forget the ones I love If I do not serve them.
I will war with others If I refuse to see them.
Therefore I choose to turn away From my reflection, To rely not on myself But on my brothers and sisters, To project always outward Until I disappear And only God remains.


Values:

Abnegation is the faction that values selflessness. They are like the person that you would call if you needed anything at all.

Style:

The Abnegation wear plain grey clothes and they don't show skin except for their hands and faces. They keep their arms and legs completely covered (that must get hot in the summer). The girls keep their hair in a simple hair cut at shoulder length and twist it back into a bun (keeping it simple). The guys have their hair cut short. All in all, they try to go unnoticed.

Jobs:

Abnegation usually holds government positions because they make choices based on what is best for everyone, not just themselves. They also do a lot of volunteer work and take care of the factionless.
